Answer: In the future that we have been predicting, there will come a time when some major plumbing installations will be done by robots. Imagine a machine on wheels with a metal arm and a special nozzle head, programmed to fix plumbing pipes. This robot is controlled remotely by an expert from somewhere else in the world using instructions for how to do the job on their iPad or smartphone.

This technology would save on costs and labor hours as it would take only two people instead of 5 co-workers with elaborate equipment such as jackhammers, saws and shovels. Robots may not be able to work under water like human plumbers but they can climb onto roofs without any danger of falling off for example which would allow them to repair leaky

Answer: Generally yes, but threads should never be assumed to be identical.

In the United States, pipe thread (aka National Standard Pipe Taper NPT) is used in sizes 1/8-2 inches and ISO metric thread (which is called British Standard Pipe [BSP]) is used in sizes above 2 inches. The difference between the two pipe systems is how a threaded joint associates with a smooth surface – a “tangent line.” In BSP, the tangent line for fittings going into an enclosed space slants sideways after 180 degrees have been turned through its center. This means that there needs to be an allowance made to allow free movement for this type of joint if it’s opposed by high pressure from below.

Answer:
There are two screws on the underside of your toilet cistern lid. You should loosen them and rotate the cap clockwise to release the push fits, then twist anti-clockwise to re-tighten and reset them for use. Make sure to tighten both, one by one; it is only tight enough after a firm “hissing” sound can be heard from all sides of the installation.
Now that you’ve replaced your push-fit plumbing fittings here’s what you can do:
1. Locate one of the coloured caps at the bottom of the toilet tank or also known as push-fit plumbing fittings 2. Underneath those plastic caps will be either green, blue or brown depending on what colour was

Answer: Plumbers are so important because they help maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of your pipes.
Breaking down waste is where alot of plumbing communities happen- in your drain tubes and septic system. When these get clogged up, it starts to get backed up into other spaces, such as your toilet which leads to really smelly gases and potential overflows that might get on shelves or behind furniture. Plumbing problems can become worse if not dealt with soon enough because buildup could damage the floors or walls of a building that might require rebuilding! A good plumber has some relatively high job security thanks to buildings constantly needing upkeep and new pipes coming in for whatever projects come through town. There’s also alot more techniques for figuring out some things like

Answer: Customer testimonies can be an excellent way to find a good water heater repair expert. They are the best judge of the quality and efficacy of service provided by various plumbers, as they have first-hand experience with them.

The beauty of customer testimonials is that you can request for plumbers who are mostly rated highly to come to your doorstep within the same day. This saves you time spent on shopping around, cold calling, or waiting numberous phone rejections only before finally reaching an available service person for an emergency call out. Imagine how much hassle you save instead choosing this dependable option! All you need to do is make one simple request on Yelp or Google Plus Reviews– simply tell them what needs fixing and where it

Answer: It depends largely on how big of a job it is to replace the plumbing, but in cases where only basic residential plumbing fixtures are being replaced, usually 6-12 hours.

It can be difficult to answer this question without knowing what was done to the plumbing before, but assuming that no significant construction or demolition took place then you generally have two options. You can replace all of the piping in one day by working 12+ hours with an experienced installation team, in which case you might not use any kind of chasing for joints or fittings due to its time consuming nature and potential for leaks during installation. Alternately if only some portions need replacement dependent on access points needing work you will probably remove everything from inside walls after consulting with an

Answer:

Of course, plumbers fix furnaces. Think about the vast diversity of plumbing work that goes on behind the scenes at any given time in an average home. This includes not only pipes themselves but also sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, dishwashers and even sump pumps.
For many years now it has been standard practice for qualified plumbing professionals to complete tasks related to maintenance of heating equipment as well. While this traditionally was limited to gas-fired units exclusively (either natural gas or propane), changes in the natural gas industry have allowed plumbers with training and experience dealing with oil fired furnaces as well.
There are many different kinds of heating systems that your plumber might need to

Answer: It depends.

It’s a dirty job if the plumber doesn’t do their best to keep things clean and tidy, for themselves and others.
