Problem: My PVC pipe is cracked and I need to fix it. What can I use to repair the crack?
Agitate: The problem with repairing a cracked pipe is that you have to cut out the damaged section of the pipe and then attach the new piece in its place. That’s not easy or cheap, but there are ways around this.
Solution: One way of getting around having to cut out a section of your existing pipes is by using composite sleeves instead of metal ones. Composite sleeves are made from different materials including fibreglass, polyester resin and other synthetic materials that offer an alternative solution for fixing cracks on PVC pipes without having to replace them altogether. This type of sleeve will fit over your existing PVC piping and hold it securely in place while also providing additional support for any weak sections within the pipe itself.
